BeWILDerwood 💚

We had a fantastic day out at @bewilderwood_norfolk at the weekend and wanted to share with you all what we love so much about this fabulous local attraction!

We arrived at BeWILDerwood just before 10am and headed into the park, starting with the wonderful boat ride! {Top tip #1 you can take a pram/buggy on the boat!}

We headed straight to a munch bar and grabbed a coffee before letting the boys explore some of the smaller play areas!

We then made our way to the storytelling stage to watch the first story of the day which both of the boys were mesmerised by! It was so good that my nearly 2 year old sat and watched the whole thing! (He NEVER sits still! Ha!)

After the story we headed to the sky maze , towering tree top tangles and tricky tunnels, these were all brilliant and we could all join in on the equipment including our littlest with some help!

At lunch time we went over to the other side of the park and grabbed some food for us adults and the boys had a picnic! {Top tip #2 you can fill your water bottles up and any of the food outlets in the park!} There are lots of picnic benches around the park and we found one close to the small play area which was great as we could let the boys go off to play once they'd finished eating!

Straight to the big hat after lunch to get stuck into some crafting! Stanley was dying to do this all morning! Sebastian lost interest quite quickly but… {Top tip #3 there is a chalk board within the Big Hat area that you can use} & he loved this!

It was then time to start the thrill seeking with the big slides and ziplines! The boys have tested many in the past but Stanley said these are the best! (& Sebastian’s face said the same!)

As well as the big play areas and slides, there are also some smaller play areas for little ones! Using ramps and steps, they're brilliantly accessible for little legs!

We spent the remainder of the afternoon pottering between the the maze (which Stanley LOVED!), the play equipment and also headed to see another performance at the story telling stage! (Which again the both happily sat through!)

There's so much to see and do at Bewilderwood! We spent the whole day there and could have stayed even longer!

Some other tips if you're planning on visiting would be:

💚 Arrive early to make the most of your day!

💚 You can take a picnic with you or enjoy food from the Munch bar which had a selection of hot or cold foot for children and adults to enjoy!

💚 Take or wear sensible footwear and clothing including a jumper or long sleeves to cover your elbows on the slides!

💚 Check out the gift shop as you leave (or enter!) the park! There are lots of affordable toys and keepsakes for children and adults!

💚 Grownups, get involved! Climb, slide, swing and even get your face painted!

💚 Book online before you go to avoid disappointment!

Thank you as always for reading! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to pop me a message or email!
